TweetDesk is a very popular Twitter app. It lets you search tweets about specific topic which are viral on Twitter. You can set a particular limit for your search which means that you can set 100 as a number for retweet count, Twitter will fetch tweets from its database which are relevant to your topic and retweeted by users at least 100 times.
The filter will subtract the noises and display only the best tweets from the Twitter search results. The most surprising part is that the filter is not available outside TweetDeck. It is not even in the official Twitter app.
There is one way by which you can actually filter tweets on engagement level bases either on the Twitter website or inside any Twitter app using one secret search operator which is not available in any documentation. Twitter doesn’t want to let us know about it.
Here is the trick.
Step 1: Go to search box either in the Twitter website or Twitter app.
Step 2: Type your search term and append the operator min_retweets:[number] or min_faves:[number].
techmuzz min_retweets:5 OR min_faves:5
Step 3: That’s all.
This app will help you to search smartly and remove the unnecessary tweets which are not viral. As a brand manager, you can get the best out of this app and save several hours to find viral content on Twitter. You can also archive tweets to a Google Spreadsheet.
There are three other search filters to help you to let your more filter your search result. The operators, first is filter:news and the second one is filter:images and third and last is filter:videos. The first operator will show tweets which are emanating from the news and the other one will display only those tweets which contains images and the last one will display only those tweets which contains video.
So now onwards use this search operators or TweetDeck to save your time, which you waste to find viral content on Twitter.
